Founder & Educational Consultant

Esmeralda Espericueta, M.Ed

I have worked with language learners for 22 years in multiple capacities. I have served as a bilingual teacher in several program models, a dual language instructional coach, dual language campus administrator, and as a Bilingual/ESL and State Testing district coordinator. Most recently, I have focused on providing consulting and professional learning services to support implementation and refinement of dual

language programs in Texas and California, through CABE.

Christina Leyva, M.Ed

With 19 years of experience in the field of bilingual education. I have served as a bilingual educator, instructional coach, early career teacher mentor, and professional learning specialist. My mission is to support the implementation and enhancement of Dual Language programs across Texas through tailored consulting, professional learning services, and personalized coaching.

Professional Learning Specialist

Michelle Silva, M.Ed

¡Bienvenidos! I have worked with language learners for almost 20 years in multiple capacities. I have served as a bilingual teacher, dual language teacher, dual language interventionist and most recently a Bilingual Instructional Coach. As a coach, I supported teachers to improve their practice by providing coaching one on one and/or team coaching cycles, created and led professional development at the campus/district level that focused on best practices and authentic methods for teaching Emerging Bilinguals. I also helped developed the bilingual curriculum for the DL program. Currently, I provide consulting and professional learning services in Texas and California (CABE).

In my 29 years in education I have worked with many outside entities for help in planning and building a program, or at times tried to do something on my own. My experience with Esmeralda in creating a Dual Immersion Master Plan led to one of the most productive, insightful, and valuable accomplishments of our department. Esmeralda’s extensive knowledge in both pedagogy and logistics, and experience from different districts (in different states), guided our team to develop a sustainable, successful Dual Immersion program. Along the way she used methods to create the condition for change and harmony with a team so we could work to complete our vision. I can’t imagine doing this without her expertise. Our families and teachers will benefit from our partnership with Esmeralda!
